Accurately draw isometric pipe fabrication spools

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential Functions Statement(s)

• Familiarity with client project scope and specifications.

• Draw shop pipe fabrication spools from client drawings utilizing AutoCAD.

• Do calculations necessary to support assigned work.

• Perform drafting to accepted company, client, and industry standards.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, AutoCAD, Navisworks.

Experience: 3-5 year of drafting experience in Piping Engineering

Computer Skills: AutoCAD, Outlook, Excel, and Word. AutoSpool a plus.

Other Requirements:

• Familiar with various metallurgies.

• Have a general understanding of pipe fabrication techniques.

• Have a basic understanding of non-destructive examination methods, heat treatments, paint, and welding procedures.

• Ability to work extended work schedules.

• Good mathematical skills including geometry, and trigonometry.

• Detail oriented.
