Fabrication Labor Analyst I or II

Baton Rouge, LA

United Weld Holdings is seeking a Fabrication Analyst to support our fabrication operations through accurate labor analysis, pricing validation, and contract-based labor take offs.  This role plays a critical part in ensuring pricing accuracy, contract compliance, and smooth coordination between engineering, project management, and shop personnel.

 Key Responsibilities / Fabrication Labor Analyst I

  • Input labor takeoff for fabrication spools per labor contract. 
  • Keep pricing and incomes within contract standards.   
  • Implement and enforce pricing policies to maintain price integrity.   
  • Communicate with Project Managers and Shop Personnel to verify job information as needed    Other projects and duties related to pricing may be assigned as needed.

Key Responsibilities / Fabrication Labor Analyst II

  • All duties of the Fabrication Labor Analyst I
  • Review job contracts for pricing specifics. 
  • Review completed fabricated spools for labor take off accuracy and pricing.
  • Confirm final pricing on shipments prior to invoicing 
  • Run various reports to verify pricing, discount/markups. 
  • Other projects and duties related to pricing may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education:  High School Diploma or GED required
  • Experience: 1-5 Years' Experience in pipe fabrication field or related area
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer proficiency and Microsoft Office required, JD Edwards is a plus
